It’s in our nature to worry … and we get really good at it, don’t we? But God says, “Cast your care on me. I care about you. Today … just for today, upload all of your cares to Him. Clear the clutter of your mind and rest in His love. You can’t change what has already happened. But you can pray about tomorrow and give that worry over to the One who knows everything there is to know about you.
Think about this verse from an old song:
I don’t know about tomorrow
I just live from day to day
I don’t borrow from its sunshine
for its skies may turn to gray.
I don’t worry o’re the future
for I know what Jesus said.
And today He walks beside me
for He knows what is ahead.
