In November of 2004 I made the decision to allow advertisers to display their links on this web site. Some have asked "why?" and others have been downright mean-spirited in their criticism of my decision.

I am deeply sorry that I have caused anyone grief. For ten years I have funded the web site and have asked for nothing in return. Now that I am at "retirement" age and must curtail some of my expenses, I went seeking a way to keep offering the site without asking for donations or funding from the web visitors. The ads have helped defray some of these costs.

I do not want to offend anyone. If you see an ad that interests you, by all means visit that site. Please use discretion in doing so, however, as some sites' content may be contrary to the gospel of Jesus Christ. If I could block advertisers that have a contrary viewpoint, I would gladly do so. However, that is not possible. There are many people who visit this site who do not appreciate my Christian viewpoint and quickly click away on one of the advertiser's links. I humbly ask your understanding as the few dollars received from the ads help to maintain this "free" (to you) site.

Please do not jump on my case and call me perverted or accuse me of hypocrisy as some have done. If you feel you must criticize me, please offer another way of paying for the upkeep of this site. FYI -- For two years I displayed a "make donation" link on this site and not one person contributed, yet I continue to get email telling me what a hypocrite I am for displaying the G*ogle ads. Go figure :).
